THE ‘PRIVATE IMPORT SCHEME’ – BRIEF DETAILS:

Algys Autos have been the UK Major Importer for in excess of 30 years. We have the full infrastructure at our fingertips. if you wish to take advantage of our Import System – read on to see what we can offer you:

1. You have been a resident outside of the UK and own a vehicle in that country. You wish to return to the UK and import your vehicle and have it presented to you fully UK registered and road legal.
2. You have purchased a vehicle a vehicle from outside the UK and wish to have it imported to the UK and presented to you fully UK registered and road legal.
3. You have sourced and located a vehicle in Japan that you wish to purchase and have it presented to you fully UK registered and road legal.

To Proceed

1. Simply tell us your circumstances and vehicle details.
2. If you have sourced a vehicle and not yet purchased it, a weblink to the advert and any correspondence that you have had with the seller would assist us.
3. In short simply:Contact us by email or freephone 0800 634 75 76.

1. If you do not already own the vehicle – contact the seller, get invoices, arrange foreign funds transfer to purchase.
2. Transportation to Japan docks, de-registration, clearances, export taxes, Port Fees, Dhl Docs to UK, Car Freight to UK, UK Vat, Duty, UK Port Fees and clearance charges.
3. Collection from Port (There may be an additional transportation charge if the vessel arrives a different UK port), Mot (subject to pass), IVA (if required), Vehicle compliancy conversions.
4. UK Registration & Number plates.
   
5. UK Road Fund tax & delivery once fully UK registered to your home addtress.
