thanks for the interest. I believe you will find that the rule is 85% of gross weight is the legal norm. As the Elgrand is not a UK or indeed EU manufactured vehicle the car is not listed for towing weights, so i suspect you will not find the Nissan Elgrand listed amongst ‘towing weights’. this is nothing unusual as any vehicle not manufactured within the EU will not be listed. That is not to say you cannot legally tow with the vehicle so long as you comply with the towing regs. May i suggest you confirm this with Vosa but i know thousands that do tow with these vehicles and indeed many cars direct from japan.
